Tom Clancy, RIP (1947 -2013) will no longer spin out best selling spy books and thrillers. The author of the popular Jack Ryan books died in Baltimore. Clancy's first book "The Hunt For Red October" was endorsed by none other than Ronald Reagan as unputdownable and according to Clancy got him into the best selling list for the first time.
